The Cryogenic Thermal Fluids Lab at the University
of Florida was founded by Dr. Jacob N. Chung in 1998.
With more than 20 years of experience in microgravity boiling
and heat transfer the research lab has positioned itself as
one of the best labs on cryogenic heat transfer in the United
States.
The group has developed the first drop tower outside of
NASA in the United States and produced the first cryogenic
chilldown visualizations through in flight microgravity
experiments at NASA.
The lab director is Dr. Jacob N. Chung, and managed by Remiel
Hong Hu.
